A series in partnership with Sheridan Student Union & Sheridan Student Affairs
Wellness is a core foundation for success in all aspects of life and while students attend Sheridan and there are many forms of wellness. When we think 'health,' typically the first few things that come to mind are eating right and being active, but we all take care of ourselves differently. But, did you know that there are actually eight dimensions of wellness?
Here you will learn how the different dimensions of wellness are interconnected and have a role to play when it comes to our overall health. By learning about and engaging in small activities that support each dimension, our goal is to help the Sheridan community improve their overall wellness in a holistic way. First, let’s take a look at:
The 8 Dimensions of Wellness
We’ve come together with student leaders and staff from across Sheridan College - including Athletics, Library and Learning Services, Counselling Services, Financial Aid, The Office for Sustainability, Sheridan Career Centre, SheridanLife Radio and more - to develop online engagements, blog posts and resources for each dimension of wellness!
