SSU's Coffee Talks is a series of events that bring students together for engaging conversations on important topics. In honour of Transgender Awareness Week , we will have Coffee Talks led by trans students and guests to give students a chance to connect with the community, ask questions, and expand their knowledge.

Join us on Nov. 15th, for a discussion on transphobia in the media.

Corrin Marier, Social Worker graduate and creator of the More Than Pronouns presentation, will led the conversation and share ways to advocate for yourself and peers. Throughout the evening, you can join in the conversation or just listen in to gain new perspectives.

This is an open discussion in a safe space- it will be moderated by Margaret Sanderson and Betcy Scaria, from the Building Positive Spaces Committee.
