Explore leadership at Sheridan’s first Virtual Student Leadership Conference! This conference is FREE and open to everyone, bringing together members of the Sheridan community from across different streams and leadership experiences to provide you with an opportunity to learn and connect with your Sheridan peers. Get inspired, get connected and learn! Grow your leadership potential by listening to professional staff and interacting with other students.

Leadership Sessions:

Attend a diverse range of 30 minutes “Ted Talk” style sessions and explore topics in leadership related to personal growth, relationship building and making a difference. Learn about leadership styles, theories and develop new skills to grow your leadership potential.

BY ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE, YOU WILL:

  • Explore leadership which includes being able to identify: the characteristics and competencies of effective leaders; leadership styles and identity; values and strengths. 

  • Understand how individuals with different leadership styles, perspectives and identities can work together effectively and collaboratively. 

  • Practice the skill of networking with members of Sheridan’s leadership community to learn how they can become more engaged community leaders.

  • Learn how to get involved, model citizenship and take action within their community and make a positive contribution.

  • Participate in self-reflection exercises designed to enhance personal growth.
