Sheridan Student Union is pleased to announce that The Marquee, located inside your student centre at the Trafalgar Campus, is now open and ready for students to enjoy our new space, starting April 7.
The Marquee now offers:
A variety of moveable sitting areas, comfortable booths in the lower-level
An entertainment area if you’re looking for to have some fun
A variety of adjustable desks, colourful booths and seating for quiet time or study sessions upstairs
Here are a few important things to know:
The Marquee is now open: Stop by your Trafalgar Student Centre on Monday - Friday from 10 am - 4 pm to see the new space!
Food Services will open in September 2025: Feel free to bring your lunch, snacks or food and drinks into the space - we look forward to serving you SSU Food Services in the Fall!
You may see a few workers around, we’re polishing up a few things: We know how much our Trafalgar students have been looking for a space on campus, and are happy to provide you this new space. You may notice some light work here and there.
As with all our spaces, student feedback was intrumental in helping us create an environment on campus that aligns with student needs. You’ll notice lots of outlets to charge your laptop, phone and devices, natural lighting to support with your well-being and tons of space that will be transformed and used for events, study sessions, hang out sessions and more!
