Before the semester comes to a close, we wanted to wish you all a safe and happy holiday season! You’ve worked hard this term, and now it’s time to enjoy a well-deserved break.
Although our offices and operations are closed from December 20, 2022 – January 3, 2023, we still have a number of services available to you over the holidays.
Here’s are a few services and links available to you over the break:
Mental Health & Wellness
You have access to our Empower Me service 365 days a year. If you are looking to speak with a qualified counselor, life coach or consultant, Empower Me is available anytime at 1-833-628-5589.
Health & Dental
Your StudentCare Health and Dental plan Change of Coverage period runs from January 3 - January 24, 2022. If you are starting your program in January and wish to opt out/enroll dependents, please visit http://www.studentcare.ca
Appeal Assistance
If you are looking to file an appeal, please do so by submitting a Level 1 Appeal form to askanadvisor@sheridancollege.ca (Please note that Sheridan Student Services will be closed from December 23, 2021 to January 4, 2022.)
Food Bank
Our Food First program is temporarily unavailable over the break, but if you are in need of food support please reach out to your local food banks. A list of community food banks can be found here: https://www.thessu.ca/foodfirst. The Virtual Food First program will be accessible again as of January 4, 2022.
Graduation photos
Graduation photo appointments will not be available during the holiday break. If you have any questions about graduation photos, please connect with our partners at Lassman Studio at https://www.lassmanstudios.com/Contact

Are you going to campus this winter?
Please note that you will only be allowed on campus if you have a compliance card from Synergy Gateway, Sheridan’s secure documentation portal, indicating full vaccination or a Sheridan-approved accommodation (with weekly rapid antigen testing). You will receive an email invitation from Synergy to upload your documents.
Please upload you documents no later than December 15, 2021 if you haven’t done so already (your Fall 2021 term compliance can be used in the Winter 2022 term). All requests for vaccine accommodations must be submitted by December 15, 2021.
You must present your onecard (student identification card) upon entry and while on Sheridan’s campuses. Learn more.
Students who recently travelled to Canada must complete the mandatory post arrival registration form at least 48 hours before coming to campus to ensure smooth entry to campus.

Medical support and COVID-19 rapid antigen testing
Sheridan’s Health Centres will be closed from December 23 – January 3. Effective January 4, 2022, the new clinic hours for all campus locations will be Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The last day for weekly rapid antigen testing in 2021 is December 16.
During the closure, if you are looking for medical support, we encourage you to use the following:
International students are welcome to contact the above centres or use the Guard.me MobileDOCTOR app. Visit the guard.me page to search for other clinics available to international students.
International students can also visit the Ontario vaccine booking system to book an appointment for vaccinations.
Questions or concerns about grades
Your official grades will be available on January 6, 2022, along with your academic standing. If you have any immediate questions or concerns about your grades, please contact your faculty member and/or Student Advisement at askanadvisor@sheridancollege.ca.
