Sheridan Student Union Community Announcements Board were created as to promote their events and initiatives. Here are the guidelines and frequently-asked questions.
Can I put my poster on the campus bulletin boards?

SSU Clubs can add their posters to our Community Announcement boards - if they follow the Poster Approval process and policy. All posters must be stamped and approved before being added to the poster board.

No, Sheridan Student Union community Boards cannot promote any student-led projects.

Please contact Sheridan Student Union’s Marketing Department for review prior to posting on the board. All requests are subject for review and approval.

Sheridan Student Union’s policy prohibits any promotion of external companies or organizations on our poster boards. Promotion of external brands is forbidden.
Where can I add my poster?
Step 1. Check if there is a pink sign that says “Community Announcements” underneath the Sheridan Student Union sign.
Step 2. If yes, look at the bottom right size of the poster board, all the Boards are labelled with a number.
Sheridan Student Union Boards will be labelled and located throughout campus. You are allowed to add your poster to select boards on campus.
Can you spot the difference?
There are two types of Sheridan Student Union Poster Boards. General SSU Board are spaces for SSU staff members are allowed to add posters to these boards. This is where you can learn about upcoming SSU events, clubs and initiatives. If you would like to add your poster to a board, make sure you are adding it to a Community Announcement Board once approved, and in alignment with the guidelines listed above.
