Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
A: “As a team lead at the SSU, my goal this year is to create a fun, welcoming, and supportive space where every student feels connected and heard. I want to bring people together through exciting events, meaningful initiatives, and opportunities to share their ideas. College is about more than just classes—it’s about building friendships, making memories, and feeling like you belong. I’m here to help make that experience unforgettable for everyone.”

Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
A: “I’m currently in the Chemical Laboratory Technician program at Sheridan. I chose this program because I’m passionate about working in bio and chemical industries, where innovation can directly improve people’s lives. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to society by working diligently in these fields, helping develop solutions that make life better for everyone.”
What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
“My first memory of the SSU was when a friend, who was already part of the team, told me about the job while we were hanging out on campus. I remember seeing him in action, interacting with students, and contributing to such a positive and lively campus atmosphere. The energy, the sense of community, and the visible impact the SSU had on student life immediately caught my attention. It inspired me to become part of the team, to not only grow personally but also to help create that same welcoming and supportive environment for others.”

What's the best SSU event you've attended so far?
“The best SSU event I’ve attended so far was definitely the boat party by the lakeside in Toronto. Cruising on the water, surrounded by the stunning skyline, and seeing the CN Tower lit up at night created such an unforgettable atmosphere.”
What's your favourite SSU Food spot on campus or go-to meal?
“The Kitchen in The Den. It’s my go-to place for a delicious and affordable meal.”
