The Anniversary of the Friendship Bench at Sheridan!
The SSU & Sheridan Health & Counselling made a significant commitment to student mental health with the installation of The Friendship Bench at all three campuses last year. This year, we want to celebrate this initiative and, together with our Awareness Coordinators, continue to encourage the conversation about mental health on campus.

What is the Friendship Bench ? The Friendship Bench is a yellow bench, similar to one that you may see in a park, which will be installed in our spaces to encourage Sheridan students to take a moment out of their day to sit, breathe, and talk to each other.
We also encourage you to use the hashtag #yellowisforhello during this time and all year long to connect to each other and help support a positive global message!
