Here’s what you need to know about Weekend Getaway: Snowshoeing at Crawford Lake (Off-Campus):
This event will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Crawford Lake, in Milton, ON. 📍
E-WAIVER REQUIRED. The e-waiver link will be sent via Eventbrite email on February 15th.
This all-ages event is open to all Sheridan Students, Staff, Faculty, and Guests. Students can bring up to 2 guests each. Guests must have their own tickets purchased for them.
YOU MUST SIGN THE E-WAIVER to rent snowshoes. Children must be over the age of 8 to participate in snowshoeing. Younger children are welcome but cannot wear the snowshoes.
Remember to dress for the weather! Please check the forecast and bring whatever you need to stay warm—hats, scarves, mittens, coats, and even snow pants, if you desire! 🧤
You are encouraged to bring a backpack with any essentials you may require, including a water bottle and some snacks if you wish. Please ensure we take our garbage HOME WITH US and do not leave anything on the trails unless placed in a designated garbage bin. 🚮
If weather conditions are not suitable for snowshoeing, a guided hike will take place instead.
