Join us for a live panel discussion revolving race in North America. In recognition of Black History Month, we encourage you to share your views, thoughts and experiences. This event is an open and safe space where you'll be part of insightful conversations on many topics such as fashion, sports, education, language, music and more!

Marlon Palmer (aka ThatDudeMcFly)
Marlon Palmer is a Toronto-based actor, comedian, host and YouTuber with over 27 million views, originally hailing from Maple, Ontario. On his channel ThatdudeMCFLY, Palmer produces comedic skits, song parodies, and rants.

Britta Badour
A proud and recognizable resident of Toronto’s Regent Park, Britta B. has made a name for herself as a spoken word poet both in competitive and feature performances nationwide, including the National Poetry Slam and Canadian Festival of Spoken Word. She’s also held the Toronto International Poetry Slam championship title while representing Toronto at the Woman of the World Poetry Slam.
As an Arts Educator and Leadership Workshop Facilitator, Britta has worked with students of all abilities and backgrounds in more than 250 schools and community centers nationwide. In 2016, Britta was selected as an Artist-In-Resident for The Power Plant Power Youth Program, mentoring youth in Regent Park through meaningful and artistic engagement with an emphasis on community collaboration.

Bilal Dawson
Bilal Dawson, raised within the GTA, is a scriptwriter, actor and filmmaker. You may recognize him after his “This is Canada” parody of Childish Gambino's "This is America" went viral with over 6 Million Views on 9Gag. Bilal is the CEO of a production company, DaVision Digital, which shoots popular GTA music videos, documentaries and other client work.
