Sheridan’s Black Student Association (SBSA) and Caribbean Student’s Association are teaming up with TMU, York UCI, UTM CC to bring you a high-energy party experience. Enjoy a night of Soca, Dancehall, Bashment, AfroBeats,Trinibad, Reggaeton, and Bouyon (brought to you by Dj Ozone & Dj Cetamal). Celebrate the vibrant music, dance and culture.

Prepare for an energizing night with performances from Dynesti. Dynesti inspires people to unleash their authentic selves through bold, unapologetic, and healing live performances, online content, videos, workshops, and sonic experiences.
MEET DYNESTI
Prepare for a resurgence of ‘The Dyna’, the nourishing and humourous energy delivered by entertainer Dynesti. A veteran of the Toronto hip-hop and soul music scene, her presence recently surged on social media with comedic skits, personal development tips, and dynamic live footage from opening for Jamaican superstar Sean Paul. She is gearing up for a slate of upcoming releases from her epic five-part recording project: The Dyna. With the initial Say Grace EP already out on all major streaming platforms, the next four installments will be Breakfast (January 2025), Lunch, The Last Supper, and Dessert.
She is known as a fierce multi-faceted entertainer, artist development coach, and live performance mastery coach in Toronto with a contagious energy that can raise the vibration of any space she performs in. “Dyna” is how Caribbean people pronounce the word “diner” and Dynesti was nicknamed, “The Dyna”, for delivering energy like food for the soul. She invites you to take a seat at the table and feast on the beautiful chaos of the world depicted through her unique and versatile sound: royal hip-hop/soul with a dash of “rudegyal” (feminine Afro-Caribbean spice)

This event is taking place on April 4, 2025, from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM at the Station on HMC campus.
Sheridan students are permitted to bring one non-Sheridan student as a guest (you each must have a ticket purchased to enter).
Coatcheck is mandatory and no bags are allowed.

This is a 19+ event. All Sheridan Students and Guests must bring their valid Government-issued ID and Sheridan One Card. No photocopies or digital copies will be accepted. Please have a valid government-issued ID ready (OR your country’s issued passport) for verification upon arrival. 🪪
