In honour of Islam Awareness Week, the Muslim Students' Association, will be hosting an introduction to Islam and Islamic religious practices workshop, in partnership with Jannat Firdous, from the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM).
This workshop will cover the basic tenets of faith as well as challenges and prevalent stereotypes about Islam and Muslims. Muslim Student’s Association will also share practical tools for allyship and bystander intervention.
This is a great introduction for people who will be working with Muslims or are interested in learning more about Muslims.
