Artist’s Statement
Created while reflecting on my parents’ survival at the Las Vegas shooting, I've concluded the path to ending such tragedies starts with a simple gesture, a hug. These wearable sloth arms bring two people together wrapped up in an embrace.
By being vulnerable, open, and connected to others we can better care and love one another. This piece is dedicated to my parents Kim and Greg, the 58 angels, their families, and the 22,000 Country Strong survivors.
