The SSU Board of Directors is looking for a mature, motivated individual to execute the duties of President. The President will serve as the voice of the student body, articulating the positions of the organization and supporting the SSU Board of Directors. It is the responsibility of the President support the mission of the SSU and to implement and achieve the strategic goals as established by the Board of Directors to the best of the ability of the organization. The President will be responsible to ensure that all relevant student issues are brought to the Board.

Must be a graduating fee-paying Sheridan student with good academic standing who was enrolled in classes in the Summer or Fall of 2023, or Winter or Summer of 2024 term preceding the term in office.
Must be committed to full time hours (37.5 per week minimum) based on standard operating hours and after hours meetings.
Understanding of informed advocacy.
Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activity at Sheridan is an asset
Must be able to work independently and in a team.
Ability to think strategically, formulate and execute plans to meet the organization goals.
Will be required to travel between campuses and from time to time nationally / internationally, and to work outside of normal business hours.
Must be able to attend evening meetings and events as required.
Successful completion of background check.
