"I have a major mental illness that makes everyday things hard for me to accomplish. Since being diagnosed, I've been recovering. This was two years ago. However, now that school is out I've found myself far more symptomatic and questioning whether or not I'll need to join a rehabilitation program in the in-term until school resumes. It's safe to say that the strike has affected my mental health, leaving me with a variety of questions and about of depression that isn't  treatable through the use of my usual medications. School was part of my recovery program and now the very thing that I thought might be able to play a key role in returning my mind back to a state of homeostasis is threatening the progress I've made thus far. I need school and I need it now. "
