“In the year 2020 black history month represents strength and sacrifice. The strength to keep pushing through any obstacles. The sacrifices our predecessors made to give us a better life.”
Q: What’s the identity you want it to portray?
“Black history month should portray the fighting spirit of African- Canadians and Americans who never let dark days stop them from creating a better future.”
Q: What do you want people to see with Black excellence/history?
“When people see black history and black excellence, I want them to see the passion to create and to do things that no other race thought they we could do.”
