What are some of your goals for your role this year?
“This year, I’m focused on creating an International Student Hub where students can find support and resources in one place. I also want to promote mental health and wellness programs specifically for international students and organize cultural events to celebrate our diversity. Another goal is to set up mentorship programs that connect new international students with those who’ve been here longer, making it easier for them to adjust. Most importantly, I’m looking to build stronger connections between international and domestic students, so everyone feels more included and connected on campus.”
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
“I am currently in the Bachelor of Computer Science Degree (SpecialIzing in Game Engineering). The reason why I chose this program was because I have always been a gamer at heart and was curious about how Games are made.”
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
Visit Tokyo
Drive a Formula One Car
Go Skydiving
What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
“I first learned about the SSU during an event on campus in my third semester. I was curious about who was behind it, so I talked to a few SSU members. That’s when I realized how much the SSU does to support students and make campus life better. It really opened my eyes to the resources available.”
Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?
“I saved a lot of money in booking my road test thanks to the Peel Driving School services for Sheridan Students.”
