Grace, Vice President of Academic Integrity & Student Success

Hi there! I’m Grace, and I’m your new VP of Academic Integrity and Student Success. I’ve always been passionate about creating a positive impact. And joining the SSU felt like the perfect way to do just that. I’m here to help you on your academic journey, ensuring you have the right tools, resources, and guidance to achieve your goals. What I’m most excited about is the chance to connect with students from all backgrounds and help you navigate your academic journey. You know what I love most about Sheridan? The incredible diversity and sense of togetherness, no matter where you’re from. Together, let’s make a difference.

Get to know Grace (she/her):

Your student leaders want to hear from you. Feel free to share any questions or feedback you have with the team!

What are some of your goals for your role this year?

“My main goal is to be your go-to person for all things academic. I want to connect with as many students as possible, listen to your challenges and work together to find solutions. Think of me as your academic cheerleader, making sure no one feels lost on their journey here at Sheridan. Let’s make this year the best one yet!”

Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?

“I’m in the Human Resources Management program. After working for five years in HR, I wanted to deepen my theoretical knowledge to complement my practical experience. I chose Sheridan because of the high-quality course content and the fantastic resources available to students- it’s the perfect place to level up.”

What are 3 things on your bucket list?

  1. Write and publish a novel (P.S. I’m working on it, I’ve got a murder board in my room, no big deal!)

  2. Backpack through Europe and soak in all the history, culture, and, of course, the food!

  3. Jump out of a plane and skydive- because why not?

What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?

“My first memory of the SSU was during Orientation Week- how could I miss that bright, fun-filled booth? They had the best games, the coolest giveaways, and the energy was off the charts! I was instantly hooked. Then, I started seeing SSU’s vibrant social media updates, and I knew this was the place to be.”

Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?

“Paragon Accounting and Financial Services is my lifesaver. Filing my taxes for the first time as a newcomer international student was super intimidating- I had no clue where to start. Thanks to this perk partner, I got to file my return for free, and they made the whole process a breeze. Talk about a stressbuster!”

What's the best SSU event you've attended so far?

“Valentine’s Day Mystery at the SSU was a killer event- literally! Nothing beats combining my love for murder mysteries and all-you-can-eat pasta. It was a night of suspense, sauce, and sleuthing. Definitely my all-time favourite yet.”

What's your favourite SSU Food spot on campus or go-to meal?

The Station Kitchen. Because coffee is life! It’s my daily dose of motivation in a cup, and The Station Kitchen brews it just right.

Are you a part of any SSU clubs/ associations or volunteer work?

“Last year, I was a Resident Advisor at the Davis campus residence, and we teamed up with the SSU to throw some cool events for our students living in residence.”
