THE FUTURE OF STUDENT TRANSIT IS UP TO YOU!
Student transit is an important issue for all students, and this year, we are looking to you to provide important feedback to help guide the future of student transit at Sheridan College.
In light of the potential changes to the inter-campus shuttle that currently exists and student feedback over the years, the SSU and Sheridan have brought forward an option to implement a Universal Transit Pass (U-Pass) for students. This U-Pass would include unlimited ridership on all Oakville, Mississauga (MiWay) and Brampton (including Züm) public transit routes for all eligible students.
If passed, a non-refundable ancillary fee of $197.15 would apply to all eligible full-time students.
It is up to you to vote on whether or not you would like the U-Pass to be implemented. Make sure you get the information you need to #ChooseYourRoute and VOTE!
Voting will take place online between November 26-30 at thessu.ca. If you would like to learn more or vote in person, we will have voting stations at each campus all week long.
All stations will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m on Friday.
