Join us for Sheridan’s first Student Leadership Conference planned by students, for students!
This year’s theme is “Discover Leadership”.
The conference is FREE and open to everyone, bringing together Sheridan students from across all programs and campuses to provide you an opportunity to share your ideas on leadership with your peers and learn how to get more involved and engaged in our Sheridan community. Get inspired, get connected and learn!
By attending the conference you will:
- Explore leadership which includes being able to identify the characteristics and competencies of effective leaders
- Discover and articulate their leadership style, principles, skills and preferences and how to use this information to support their personal and professional development
- Understand how individuals with different leadership styles can work together effectively and collaboratively
- Practice the skill of networking with members of Sheridan’s leadership community to learn how they can become more engaged community leaders
- Learn how to get more involved within their community and make a positive contribution which includes building collaborative and trusting relationships with their peers
- Participate self-reflection exercises designed to enhance personal growth

- Leadership Workshops: A diverse range of topics for you to explore your leadership style, develop skills and build relationships
