Polar Plunge

Polar Plunge

Date: March 8
Time: 11:30AM Registration // 1PM Plunge
Location: Davis Campus
Free Event

We are hosting the Polar Plunge at the Davis Campus for the 2nd time in a row!

The Polar Plunge is an event (in conjunction with the Peel Regional Police) where individuals jump into a bin filled with icy cold water. Weird? But there’s obviously a reason for doing this – individuals can participate by fundraising and accumulating generous donations from friends, family members, peers, co-workers, community members and local businesses.

All proceeds go to The Special Olympics Ontario (SOO), an initiative by the Law Enforcement Torch Run. Plungers will take part in jumping into the water and based off of how much they’ve raised they will receive incentives and prizes accordingly.
