SSU is offering a free two-hour LivingWorks START training session to give students the tools to help one another and develop suicide awareness and life saving skills.
Complete Your START Module Training- Jan 17- Jan 28th
LivingWorks START is a two-hour self-paced online module that teaches us how to recognize when someone is thinking about suicide and outlines the steps to connect the person with thoughts of suicide to the help and support they need.
As you complete this training, you will learn how to feel confident in your ability to recognize signs, reassured that you can help if faced with that situation, and inspired to help out where you can.
Attend the Post-Training Workshop February 8th, 2021
Post-training workshop on February 8th will give you the chance to talk about what you learned, answer any questions, and gain a refresher on the resources available to help at Sheridan.
