More you should know about Garba Night:

  • What is Garba? Garba is a community circle dance from the northwestern Indian state of Gujarat. The word "garba" is also used to refer to the event at which the Garba is performed. The dance form originated in the villages of Gujarat, where it was (and continues to be) performed in communal gathering spaces in the center of the village with the entire community participating. As with many social events that happen in rural areas, Garba also has religious significance. Join the celebration!

  • This event is taking place on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. inside the HMC Student Centre, The Station.

  • This event is open to Sheridan students and one non-Sheridan guest. A ticket must be purchased online for both the Sheridan Student and your guest. Bring your OneCard!

  • All ages and students across all campuses are welcome!

  • This will be a dry event. Food and non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase.

  • No Bags allowed inside the venue.
