Celebrating Menstrual Health for All!

Don’t miss a fun-filled week of celebration, where everyone’s welcome to go with the flow and join the conversation. Enjoy mini-workshops, awesome giveaways and the chance to learn about menstrual health, period poverty, and advocacy.

Whether you experience periods or support someone who does, let’s break the stigma around menstrual cycles, together! 🌸



Here’s what you should know about Cycle Celebration Week:

  • Cycle Celebration events open to all Sheridan students and community members. Take a look at the different ways you can get involved ⬇️

  • October 29 - Davis Campus SSU Atrium
    October 30 - HMC Campus C-Wing 1st Floor

    Stop by The Period Purse pop-up booth on campus from 1 pm - 3 pm! We're raising awareness about period poverty, advocacy, and breaking the stigma around menstruation. Stop by to chat, grab a postcard, and check out their product demos.

    October 29 - Davis Campus SSU Atrium
    November 1- HMC Campus C-Wing 1st Floor

    Join us from 1pm - 4pm for a reusable pads workshop hosted by Help A Girl Out! In this engaging session, we’ll talk about period access and awareness, learn valuable sewing skills, and contribute to environmental sustainability.

  • October 28 - November 1 (Online)
    Every day from October 28 to November 1st, SSU will be highlighting or announcing a new student savings partner! Visit the Student Savings Page everyday from October 28 - November 1 to learn how to save on menstrual products or services and boost your knowledge and awareness.
