Celebrating Black History Month All Year Long.
Join Sheridan alumni, Sheridan Student Union, and the Centre for Equity and Inclusion for a series of 30-minute coffee chats on Instagram Live. We will be hosting a series of events throughout the year to celebrate Black History Month, where Sheridan students will engage in organic conversations with Sheridan alumni about creating positive change and improving equity, inclusion, and justice in our communities and how students can imagine their futures and become changemakers in their community. Students and alumni will have a chance to connect with the speaker, ask questions and expand their knowledge.
We are very excited to introduce our next guest speaker: Hailey Lewis!
Meet Hailey Lewis
We are very excited to introduce our second guest speaker in the series: Afro-Canadian, triple-threat artist, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child star, Hailey Lewis.
Hailey is a 2016 graduate from Sheridan’s Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program. After graduation, Hailey performed in shows such as Hairspray, Grease, Sousaztka, Mary Poppins, Anne of Green Gables, Mamma Mia and more, in theatres across Canada.
Hailey is now making her Mirvish debut as Rose and jumping into the fabulous world of magic in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
When not performing, Hailey can be found cuddling her dog Rigley, playing her ukulele, getting lost in a good book, FaceTiming her friends, spending time with her family (especially her mama) and eating lots of chips! Hailey truly believes in giving back to all communities by inspiring others, and spreading love and light.
