"As an international student, this strike means I won’t get to go home and see my family for Christmas. And if the semester is lost, I’ll have to get a visa extension; the cost of doing so would be more than a Canadian student’s semester tuition. 

It’s very frustrating to be paying for an education that will now be delayed or condensed. I also am so sad that I won’t get to go home for the holidays."
