New Volunteer Opportunity with Black History Committee

Become a Black History Committee Student Rep!


The SSU and Sheridan College are proud to share a new volunteer opportunity for Sheridan students interested in working with The Black History Committee. As a Student Representative, you will contribute to the planning, development and execution of activities and initiatives that support the celebration of Black History at Sheridan. In this role, you will attend meetings and contribute to the brainstorming activities and planning discussions surrounding The Black History Committee. You are responsible for helping in the planning of initiatives and events throughout the year and will also providing feedback and analysis on a variety of topics discussed in committee meetings.

BLACK HISTORY COMMITTEE STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE :

  • This is a virtual/remote only volunteer position that runs from November 2022 until August 2022 

  • All students are welcome to apply from Trafalgar, Davis, and HMC campuses.

  • The time commitment of this role is a minimum of 1 hour per month. Time commitments will vary throughout the year, but there may be a need for more help in November/January/February. Volunteer must work a minimum of 15 hours per school year.

  • Students will receive CRR credit for your contribution
