“I’m an international student from Botswana and I grew up in South Africa. Both countries have large social cultures which make me love my work as a student life lead who helps to organize and run events.”

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?
“I want to incorporate more education into our cultural events, to help students understand the importance of different cultures, while also having fun!”
Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?
“I'm in the Film and TV Bachelor's programme and I chose it because I love the challenge of finding interesting ways to visually tell stories.”

What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?
“I got a freezie on a really hot day in exchange for following all the SSU social media accounts, this prompted me to research what the SSU does.”

“2024 Gala.”
