I joined The SSU back in 2022 when I was looking for my first job, and through it I have acquired both crucial experiences and skills that I’ll take with me once I graduate. Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?

A: “My goals for this year include ensuring that Sheridan clubs continue to run as smoothly as possible to ensure that everyone involved has a great time!”

Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?

A: “I am in the Honors Bachelors of Creative Writing and Publishing program. I chose this program because, as a creative-type, I am always looking for new ways to both improve my skills at storytelling and share my works with other people.”

What was your first memory of the SSU? How did you discover that the SSU existed for student support?

“I first learned of the SSU when scrolling through Slate; there was an announcement for an opening on the community board. I visited the campus where they were conducting interviews for positions at the Station Express café, and all of the staff I met there were extremely patient and pleasant to talk to. It left an excellent first impression that had me feeling confident about my prospects.”

Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?

“I've loved Pizza all my life, so I have to give my vote to Domino's Pizza.”

What's your favourite SSU Food spot on campus or go-to meal?

“The buffalo chicken poutine served at the Station Kitchen is sublime, I highly recommend it.”

Are you a part of any SSU clubs/ associations or volunteer work?

“I was formerly a member of the HMC TTRPG club, but left it in order to focus in on helping all clubs on equal measures.”
