Atinder, DAV Student Life Lead

Get to know Atinder (he/him):

Have ideas or questions about events at Sheridan?

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?

A: My goal is to execute fun and competitive events that students are always looking forward to being a part of and to create a space where they can relieve all their student life stress. I believe being a student is the golden period of your life and it does not come back once's gone, it's the moment like these events and all the fun you have with your friends that you look back to, and to help improve the student life experience by implementing some of my ideas is what I would like to achieve in my term.”

Q: What program are you in? And why did you choose this program at Sheridan?

A: “I am in Mechanical Engineering Design and Draft and I chose this course to further improve my skill sets and education in engineering. I like to design and mould things out of my imagination and this course with some advanced 3D software helps me exactly do that.”

Q: What are 3 things on your bucket list?

  1. Bungee Jumping in a valley.

  2. Gifting my parents a G-Wagon

  3. Having a net worth of more than 100 million dollars.

“My first memory of SSU was on my very first day of college when I asked a guy wearing SSU T-shirt for directions. I was curious who these students in blue shirts were, then on other day I asked a girl in the same t-shirt more about SSU and decided to join the team.

Which SSU Perk Partner is your personal favourite?

“I use Presto everyday so I'll go with that.”

What's the best SSU event you've attended so far?

“Canada's Wonderland.”

What's your favourite SSU Food spot on campus or go-to meal?
