Tell us about you and your role within the SU:

Hi there! I'm the Managing Director within SSU, heading the professional staff group! I work closely with our student leaders and professional staff to achieve the strategic goals outlined for us by the board! I also hold an ex-officio role on the Board, and serve them as a professional advisor.

I have worked most of my life in the not-for-profit sector, and was thrilled to join SSU so that I could combine two of my key career interests: working with students, and working in the not-for-profit management field!

Every day brings new challenges in an organization like SSU, and I enjoy working with students to assist SSU to evolve to serve Sheridan students.

What are some of your goals for your role this year?

Specifically for 2021-22, I look forward to assisting student leadership to operationalize SSU's strategic plan. Also, I look forward to planning for the smooth opening of our new student centre (HMC2A) in downtown Mississauga, and a hopeful return to campus life in the near future!

• Travel to India.

• Hike the entire Bruce Trail.

• Take some photography courses and pursue photography as a hobby.
