National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
Sheridan Student Union and Sheridan College will have a commemoration of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women on Tuesday, December 6, from 1:00 – 1:30 p.m. This day honours the lives of 14 young women who were murdered at Polytechnique Montréal on December 6, 1989. This act of violent misogyny shook our country and led Parliament to designate December 6 as The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
You are invited to attend Sheridan’s commemoration of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
Date: Tuesday, December 6, 2022
Time: 1 p.m. - 1 :30 p.m.
