"The strike has thrown my life completely out of balance. It is not a vacation or a welcome break; it is a source of anxiety and uncertainty. At this point, any attempts to make up the lost time will cost us our free time - which otherwise would be spent working or with family. I did not pay thousands of dollars to have to devote my free time to making up for other people's poor negotiating. Every day, we are on our toes waiting for the strike to end. I want my education. I want my money. I want my time back. I feel unheard and anxious for what the future holds - I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to handle the stress of trying to catch up without breaks.
